Junior Designer
We are expanding our creative team and seeking a Junior Designer who can create and translate a vision into fully realized, buildable, and install-ready designs with clarity, confidence, and accountability.
Role Overview
The Junior Designer will work closely with the Founder/Principal Designer and the Design Team across all phases of project execution, from design development through procurement and installation. This person will be responsible for project execution, design development, and managing client, consultant and contractor communication. We expect a high level of creativity, precision, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with design projects from conception to installation, including client meetings, space planning, furniture and finish selection and sourcing.
Hands-on contact with clients and vendors from start to finish (design to install), and oversee issues with all contractors, vendors, and clients.
Assist in development of design schemes, floor plans and presentation boards.
Create full construction drawings (plans, elevations, rops, details, etc.) in Revit.
Source and create FF&E and finish presentations in InDesign and correspond with clients on design intent and project progress.
Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for multiple projects.
Maintain quality control across all deliverables.
Manage construction administration throughout the life of a project.
Rendering coordination.
Site visits and installs (in and out of town)
Job Requirements
3+ years of professional interior design experience.
Commercial experience preferred.
Excellent communicator and self-starter.
Must be extremely organized and reliable.
Strong drive to exceed standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in Revit and InDesign. Sketch-up proficiency is a plus, but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
MUST be located in the Atlanta area and available to work in our studio in Marietta on a weekly basis.
Part-time contract or Full-time position based on experience.
